Japanese Summer Orchid!

Our Japanese Orchid Cut flower is getting popular in overseas market and Bulb Cut Summer Dendrobium 'Ryoma' and Epirdndrum orchids is in season now!

Bulb Cut Orchid is our concept of cut flower orchid item created by ourselves originally grown as potted plants, its really long lasting cut orchids and keep opening buds for long weeks.

Japanese Bulb cut orchids is really limited in availability but its really beautiful and above mentioned variety 'Ryoma' is bred by Japanese orchid grower in Kochi Prefecture. Stem has some of buds and they also open well.

Also Japanese Epidendrum orchids is now in season and its shows extremely long lasting, new buds keep coming out and keep blooming for long weeks. We can ship assorted color box of Epidendrum as well.

Lets try beautiful Scabiosa varieties created in Japan

Japanese Scabiosa is one of the best seller items in Spring on our worldwide export activities.
Mr Terao in Kyushu Island created a lot of unique scabies varieties named as 'TERRA' series.

We had buyer's visit from Australia and we visited flower auction market in Tokyo today to meet Mr Terao as he is doing promotion at Wholesale florist in the market this morning.

Scabiosa created by Mr Terao is really amazing. Many of unusual form of flowers and also wide-range availability on colors as well.

Hokkaido Sweet Peas are now available!

Japanese Sweet Pea grown in Hokkaido is now available. Hokkaido is the last production area in Japan this season and quality is excellent.

It's available till before Mother's Day and very popular item in New York in every spring since 8 years ago and their main overseas market of Sweet Peas grown in Hokkaido are mainly exported to New York.

North Island Hokkaido (Map in Red)

Hokkaido is located in the northern Japan territory and well known as coldest place in Japan. This big island got heavy snow during winter. Sapporo Snow Festival is now very popular for overseas tourist as well.

Because of cold climate, spring comes very late compare to mainland Japan. Main production are of Japanese Sweet Peas is Kyushu Island in the southern Japan and Sweet Pea season in Japan is starting from Miyazaki prefecture in Kyushu Island.

Beautiful Nature in Hokkaido

But Miyazaki prefecture become rainy & cloudy season after middle of February and spring is coming earlier than Mainland Japan and Hokkaido. This climate brings high water contents of products and getting difficult to export around end of February because of risk of damage caused by botrytis and also mold.

Hokkaido Sweet Pea season is starting from April and it will be available around Mother's day in May. Production is not so big but quality is amazing. You can enjoy 50cm tall of very thick stem with beautiful petals.

Hokkaido is still very cold and Sweet peas are growing very slow because of cold weather. This climate made stems and petals very strong, thats why Hokkaido Sweet Peas are lasting very long and travel very well.

Its very popular item in Domestic market as well and we are not able to ship big volume of Hokkaid Sweet Peas. It means that if you can get chance to enjoy Japanese Sweet Peas from Hokkaido in April and early May, you are very lucky person!

It may be difficult for you to get those beautiful petals from Hokkaido but please try to ask your wholesale florist and / or distributor so that you can get Japanese beauties from beautiful island Hokkaido.

Japanese Gloriosa is our best seller item for export.

Misato Gloriosa is well known Gloriosa brand in the world by JA Kochi City, a agricultural cooperative in Kochi prefecture, Japan. And their original Gloriosa got 1st prize at new variety competition in Holland and everybody amazed about beautifulness and its quality.

Red petal variety so called 'Southern Wind' is really popular and we are exporting 80cm and also 100cm stem as well. Stem is very thick and flower is really big. If you still not tried Japanese Gloriosa yet, please try to get from your wholesale florist.
